Flash flood warning issued for I-25 corridor on El Paso and Pueblo county line (9)

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning today for a swath of land along the border between El Paso and Pueblo counties, in effect until 9 p.m.

The affected area, roughly where Interstate 25 passes the county line, is located just south of the Wigwam area, and north of Pueblo West.

The public is instructed to move to higher ground immediately and to avoid trying to drive vehicles through flooded roadways.
